Games aren't just for the students anymore
Nintendo is New Schoolyard Bully; Take that Sony!
There was a recent post over at the Kotaku blog with the most recent NPD sales figures for March of all the video game consoles and games. Not many surprises; the Xbox360 is selling well, and the PS2 is still a powerhouse, but the PS3 is getting beaten up in terms of sales by not only the Wii, but also the Nintendo DS, AND the Game Boy Advance.

1. Nintendo DS - 508K
2. PlayStation 2 - 280K
3. Wii - 259K
4. Xbox 360 - 199K
5. PlayStation Portable - 180K
6. Game Boy Advance - 148K
7. PlayStation 3 - 130K
8. GameCube - 22K
I expected the Wii to be selling more, as well as the DS (Nothing can touch that amazing machine in terms of sales), but to have your BRAND SPANKING NEW console being beaten by the Game Boy (a video game system that most online game sites contend is near the end of it's life cycle) is just sad. Sorry Sony, but get used to the bloody noses and swirlies; it's only going to get worse once the PS2 stops production.
